As promised, here’s a more detailed entry on how my lips turned out this color in my recent self-portrait/s. I hurriedly put on MAC’s Hug Me Lustre lipstick and Smashbox’s Sweet lipgloss (from the Wicked Lovely collection) after I got home from dinner, so pardon the not-so-precise application. :)

I finally succumbed to MAC (!) and this is my first lipstick purchase from them (but I do have nude colors from Maybelline, Revlon and ModelCo). Did a little research before getting this since I’m partial to sheer, very natural colors, and I found out that first-time MAC lipstick buyers usually get this lipstick. Hug Me has a pretty flesh pink tone to it, and has the safe kind of color you’d want to wear to your wedding. While some people might not like this for its color and coverage, I personally think it’s awesome for daily use. Paired with Smashbox’s yummy lipgloss, you’ve got instant kissable lips. Final result resembles the the color of my bare (and boring) lips, but much much better. :)

Home from yet another photoshoot. Hair by Ricky Diokno and make-up by Claire Diokno for Shu Uemura. For my eyes and cheeks, she used the new Tsumori Chisato x Shu Uemura Planet Cat Palette. The packaging is WAY adorable. The only thing that’s keeping me from getting it is the price tag! Anyhow, took this after I had dinner, so I used my own lipstick. More on that in my next entry. :)
November 27, 2009 Philippine Star YS (Young Star) section page I-2, for the Samsung I Imagine campaign. Photos were shot last November 6. Those Stella Luna lace-up thigh-high boots from the stylist - I covet. SO PRETTY /cry

When I was a kid, I had piano, violin and bass (guitar) lessons. I can’t remember how to play any of them now, lol. Just the basics. Anyhow, Riki, whom you might have seen on TV if you’re a fan of UAAP, was my batchmate back in highschool, and I spent a lot of time with her in my senior year. We call each other Fishface and Shrimpy, but we both can’t recall where that started. :)

Shot for Coexist’s latest collection yet again. Watch out for them at the Saint James Bazaar in Ayala Alabang this weekend (27th-29th). I have that dress in the middle - too cute!

Yesterday, after I had lunch in school, I had a little chat with my friend Brendan before he went off to his class and continued his 8-year-long teaching streak at the Ateneo. He took a few candid and posed photos of me (for the lulz) using his shiny new 500D. Entry-level dSLRs nowadays are awesome. D:
November 24. I turned 21 today. Thanks to all those who greeted me. :)
Earlier today I modeled for Eastwood City Walk so I took obligatory hair and make-up photos as usual, except with different hair and a lighter lip color because I ate so much for dinner that the original dark lipstick wore off. Hur hur. My slouchy dark blue beanie is from Aldo!
